	CHARITY - Over £400 raised for 'The Light House Club'.


	GIVE-A-WAYS - Over £3,000 worth of goodies were given away this year. Thats including a Clipper SawBench, but not including all the FREE beer that was consumed!! Wow!!

SED 2003 took place on Tuesday 29th April - Thursday 1st May 2003 and was the 37th National Event for Construction. The event took place at Fen Farm, Wavendon, Milton Keynes - there were 472 exhibitors to see from every construction sector.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE WHO EXHIBITED AND VISITED SED 2003! Another SED is over - and what a show it was. The 37th annual SED (Site Equipment Demonstration) exhibition was officially the biggest show ever staged -with no less than 478 exhibitors - of those 170 were brand new to the event.

2003 saw Leach Lewis celebrating its 25 concecutive year at S.E.D. Leach Lewis are the longest concecutive exhibitors of the largest construction show in the U.K

A total of 17726 unique visitors came through the doors to see the largest gathering of construction equipment in the UK.


A restored Thwaites 1950's Dumper was provided by Leach Lewis (Left)		This year's Classic Plant display at SED was hosted and organised by the Lighthouse Club, the construction industry's own charity. Never before at SED has there been such an impressive array of vintage kit on display.


		Back again this year raising money for the Light House Club are (from left) Ruth, Stephen & Lucy. A big thank you to all three. Hundereds of people, walk away with thousands of prizes, what a give-a-way!
